Dachan J. Furnace is an experienced attorney and dedicated legal professional, currently practicing at M.L. Martin & Furnace, LLC (formerly M.L. Martin Law, LLC). With a strict focus in both criminal and family law, Attorney Furnace has successfully represented clients in a wide variety of cases, including criminal defense, child custody, divorce, child support, spousal support, adoption, and paternity matters.
Attorney Furnace’s legal career began with her role as an Assistant District Attorney in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted thousands of criminal cases. Over the years, she has expanded her practice to include family law, where she has litigated matters involving child support enforcement, custody disputes, and divorce proceedings, securing millions of dollars in past and future support for her clients. She is passionate about helping individuals navigate through some of the most stressful times in their lives, whether they are facing criminal charges or family law issues.
A graduate of Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, Attorney Furnace earned numerous honors, including being named to the Dean’s List. She was an active member of the National Mock Trial Team and the Moot Court Board, honing her trial advocacy skills. She also studied abroad at the University of London, where she focused on International Law and International Business Transactions. Attorney Furnace earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Grambling State University.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Attorney Furnace enjoys spending quality time with her husband and four children. She is deeply committed to her community and is an active member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Christian Legal Society.
